Empowering Manila's street kids through chess. Join us in providing education, nourishment, and opportunity through the strategic game of chess.
Our Mission: Checkmate Poverty
Chess for Good is dedicated to helping street and poor kids of Manila by providing weekly chess lessons and tournaments in parks. We offer nutritious food, a safe environment, and skills training for older teens in areas like hairdressing, mechanics, and massage therapy. See our President's vision here.
Key Statistics
1.2 million children live on the streets in the Philippines (UNICEF, 2023)
Chess is more than a game; it's a tool for empowerment and change. With Chess for Good, we are committed to helping at-risk youth in Manila find opportunity and a brighter future.
